Yoga Doesnt Have to be Hard

I cant tell you how many people I have talked to over the years who tell me ” I cant do Yoga, I tried it once and it was too hard”.

I then engage them with this; did you walk up to your teacher and introduce yourself and that you were new to the practice? Were you in a mixed level class or a higher lever class where the teacher offered modifications for you so the lesson or pose could be introduced at a pace for YOU? Did your teacher even notice you were there?….

The practice of yoga is very popular today and unfortunalty with its popularity attention to details or limitiations of students are being overlooked. Moonlight Yoga asks new students to fill out our information sheet so we can provide them a healthy, safe experience with yoga.

We recognize the importantance of understanding our students abilities and experience level when they begin classes with us. Knowing that you have had knee surgery will help us modify the poses in class that will exert too much strain on the injury. Our mission is to build strong bodies and healthy minds and we will help you strengthen the injury so you can hold these poses without modification.
